Kaffeeliebhaber kennen das Dilemma: Die alte Kaffeemaschine hat den Geist aufgegeben und nun soll ein neues Gerät angeschafft werden.
Doch welches System ist das richtige? Vollautomat oder doch lieber Portionensystem?
Grundsätzlich spaltet sich die Kaffeewelt in 2 Teile auf: Die der Vollautomaten (wie z.B. Jura, Saeco usw.) und die der Portionensystem-Maschinen (wie z.B. Nespresso usw.).
Nüchtern betrachtet – und dies belegt auch ein Flyer eines bekannten Schweizer Herstellers – schneidet der Vollautomat bei den Kosten mittel- bis langfristig immer noch besser ab. Dazu folgende Tabelle:

Und was ist das Fazit der G’schicht:
Portionensysteme bieten in der Regel gleichbleibend hochstehende Kaffeequalität und zeichnen sich durch eine sehr einfache Handhabung aus. Die Geräte sind praktisch wartungsfrei und günstig in der Anschaffung.
Vollautomaten können meist mehr (z.B. auch mal den morgendlichen Cappucchino ranzaubern) und benötigen etwas mehr Unterhalt. Mittelfristig betrachtet, schneiden diese jedoch bei den Kosten deutlich besser ab.
